Mantis wants snake for lunch
For the last two days I kept hearing my mantis banging against the container.. Then I realized that I had a tub of locusts besite its enclosure so I removed it ..
This morning I heard her again banging against the enclosure but when I got near it she sat on the floor so I thought she just fell (well "just") ..
Finally caught her in the act :
Stupid little thing
Needless to say the mantis is nowhere near anything moving now

We have them in the wild here and I once watched one stood by the side of the road trying to take on the cars as they went past
I moved it to a safer, more gentle place but still had the attitude
