This is luncheon, he is named this as my husband say's if he gets out he will be meat.Would be great to know his real name.

That looks suspiciously like a Tegenaria domestica to me :p , The gigantea's tend to have rather more elaborate abdominal markings, i would get pics of my gigantea's abdomen, but he is a tad too small :(

Also, i've noticed that gigantea seem to look slightly Greenish:D

Another thing that i have observed is that, (as spiderlings atleast), T.domestica tend to stay on the ground, whereas T.gigantea will usually make a web as high up as is possible and stay there.

well my spider is around 2" and has made a large web across the floor. I have 22 Tarantulas and none eat as well as this litlle man.Thank you for all your help.
