Hey look what me 'n' Sonny just found in the front garden while planting up the borders! I think its one of those Rustic Wolf spids that bit me a few weeks ago, it looks the same. I think its called lycosa or something lol. Anyways, we have put her in a pot with lots of sub and natural plants from the garden and we are gonna watch to see if the baby's hatch so we can release them back into the garden.

Our garden wall was swarming with a smaller lycosid sp, It was all the females sunning their egg sacs. What size is she Jay?

Er, prob around 1. 1/4 cm Chris, not a bad size but smaller than the one that bit me lol. Any suggestions how to keep her or should we just let her go.

thin layer of peat and something to hide behind, make sure she's kept warm as the sacs take ages to hatch if they are kept too cold, anything over 17 c is fine
