i was in spain last summer and these spiders kept showing up in the pool and i was wonderin if anyone could id it. i know the pis arent great quality but if any1 could give it a go i'd apreciate it.

fuzzy pics but almost certainly Macrothele calpeiana (funnelweb), nice spiders, i had a few way back when.

ok well im goin to the same villa this july so ill get some better pics then as it would be interesting. im gonna try and catch one for the ten days im there but will be letting it go at the end of the holiday.

Did you find if it was Myglamorph or araneamorph?

if it's what i think it probably is then it's a Myg, if it's not what i think it is then its probably not, but i think it is what i think it is so then i think it is a Myg

the only one i got a good look at (the one in the photo) had drowned in the swimming pool and was badly damaged so the details werent clear. the live ones were way too fast look at. but as i say when i go again ill catch one to have a better look at so iding should be simpler.

Its just it has Pedipalps like a mygal but the carapace looks wierd for one, maybe its just the pics
