Are now then.... Is that a true spider Niklas? if so I do find that one quite cute, thats not so scarey as the normal ones. I can get my head round that one.

D. fimbriatus or D. plantarius is the largest species of spider in Sweden. They can grow to over 4" in legspan.

Hey Niklas, we have that spider in England, its a classic species that lives near water, nice one! :)

Dolomedes fimbriatus up to about 8-9cm leg span, D. plantarius up to about 10-11cm leg span.:biggrin:
