Must be all this mild weather we're having!
I think the spid is Zigiella x notata.

Its only a shed spider as it hasn't found its way into your house yet. Both species are found across the UK and always around humans.

X-notata are a cool little spider. If they fall when you collect them they go mental on the floor or in your hand, almost like they are having a fit.

Mary had to re-do her Spider count the other day. She had as many true spiders as T's ...lol

She had...

Steatoda grossa
Zygiella X-notata
Pholcus phalangioides
Tegenaria sp. (young gigantea)
A crab spider of some type but not ID's yet (Thomisidae)

plus what looks like a young Pisaura mirabilis spider but I want to get it to ultimate to find out for sure. ID's juvenile true spiders is hard going and I'm often wrong.

Larry, if you are interested I can send you a few little species from around the world. I have some AWESOME little jumpers from a friend in the US. None of them take up any room and of course, nothing dangerous...lol Unless I get some tubs mixed up

Sonny is getting heavily into jumping spiders, he keeps looking up about different species & stuff, I just hope he doesn't ask for one lol.

Oh I'd love a jumper but no mosre spiders just yet, want to get christmas out the way first, plus I want my next spid to be a T
I'll probably capture my own jumper next spring, but I find them too small to make it worthwile keeping in a tank, however small.
So how do people house their jumpers anyway(dont say in the drawer under my socks...)
