No idea what it is, but found her running around in the garden last week:

Very hard to get a sharper focus as she's so small (about 7mm DLS)

Looks like somekind of Wolf Spider to me.

I think it could be a Dolomedes Minor. a type of nursery web spider. I looked up nz spiders on the web and found one similar.

Thats a wolf spider(Lycosidae),absolutely loads of these in my garden, and greenhouse!

Yeah they all hatched out a few weeks ago, spent a while on Mum's back, then finally ventured off. I've let them all go now.

Thats wonderful, thanks for letting us know. You should have taken some pics of them, that would have been cute to see.
