Well, a while back, we were clearing some stuff out the back of the shop, and we came across a mature femme Coelotes (aka Motherphage spider) with a brood. Unfortunately, the brood kinda got squished in the process:unhappy_green:

So... I put the mum aside, we continued, and to my delight, we found a mature male  Naturally, it became my duty to breed them and the femme made a sac shortly after, and it hatched last night!

So now.... how do I take care of these little guys? I know the mother spider takes care of her offspring, but for how long? Will they be happy sharing a squished cricket? any tips on Coelotes motherhood would both be appreciated and are sorely needed...:biggrin_hat:

Cheers,
Sam

So so so SORRY Sam but........if it where me (which it isnt) taking care of them I would....Take a rolled up newspaper & bash em all!
I know, I know, you all hate me now but that is just my opinion. I do respect all animals but its just My fear & my problem, not the poor spids fault.

Awwwww... horrors....

That's really strange. You r totally ok with T's but have a reaction like that to other spids.... I wonder why? I know to you it feels like a knee jerk reaction, but I think if you kept some normal spids and watched their behaviour, you'd learn to appreciate them as much as T's.

Well, an update. These little guys are wandering around a bit now and seem to be doing ok on micro crix. really cute lil white things....
